How to Find out if Your Spouse Is Committing Online Infidelity

Online InfidelityIf your spouse is spending a lot more time than usual on the computer and acting in a very secretive manner (for example, using the computer only after you’ve gone to bed), he may be committing online infidelity. Our private investigators can perform computer forensics and surveillance to find out exactly what your spouse is doing on the computer. We perform these services to retrieve past and current computer and online activity:

Computer Data Recovery – Almost all past computer activity is retrievable. Most computer users assume that when they delete a file, it is permanently destroyed. In reality, the deleted files remain stored on the computer’s hard drive until the hard drive is full. As the hard drive needs more space, it starts to destroy the deleted files. Until that point, our private investigators are able to retrieve deleted files, emails, instant messages, and history of Internet activity, including websites visited.

Top Signs That Your Spouse May Be Cheating on You

Signs of InfidelityAs a private investigator, I have many clients who want to find out if their spouse is having an affair. One of the first things I ask them is why they think their spouse is cheating. Long absences, often unaccounted for. Typical behaviors: She goes out to buy milk but returns three hours later; starts working late nights at the office; or joins a book club but never reads. Explanation: She is meeting up with her boyfriend.

Online Infidelity Will Increase

I just came across an interesting article on online infidelity by the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). The article states that an estimated 20 to 33% of Internet users go online for sexual purposes. Most of these users are male, 35 years old, married with children, and well educated, which is very similar to what I’ve found during my investigative work. This problem is likely to grow as the number of households with Internet access grows. Check out the article to learn about the reasons for and signs of online infidelity, as well as how to get help.
